RAPPAHANNOCK COUNTY DEMOCRATIC COMMITTEE
meets on Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Washington Town Hall, 485 Gay Street, Washington. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. for coffee and conversation. Meeting starts at 10 a.m. All are welcome!
• The regular TOWN COUNCIL meeting normally held on Monday, Nov. 11, has been continued by Council to Tuesday, Nov. 12, beginning at 7 p.m. to observe Veterans Day.
• Rappahannock County SCHOOL
BOARD meets on Nov. 12, at 6:30 p.m. in the high school band room.
• The ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW
BOARD will meet on Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 7 p.m. to consider applications from Avon Hall for a new storage building and a new message board installed at Town Hall.
• AGING TOGETHER meets on Wednesday, Nov. 13, at Prince Michel Winery in Madison from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. There is no cost to attend, but those interested in attending should RSVP to 540-829-6405. Aging Together serves the counties of Culpeper, Fauquier, Orange, Madison and Rappahannock.
• The Rappahannock Garden Club’s ANNUAL WREATH
SALE is on! Sales of wreaths, swags, garlands, and tabletop or mantle toppers will continue through November 23. All items are made with local conditioned greens, pine cones & berries and will remain fresh throughout the holidays. • Rappahannock County Social Services, 354 Gay Street, Washington, is holding their annual CHILDREN'S ANGEL
TREE PROGRAM. The program is for Rappahannock County resident children under the age of 18 years. Angel names will be taken through Nov. 15. Angel trees will be located at Trinity Church and Rappahannock County Social Services. To be added to the Senior Angel Tree, or for further information, please contact Joe Kimpflen at 540-675-4839.
