• Rappahanno­ck County School Board meeting and public hearing on the FY21 budget will take place on Tuesday, March 10, at 6:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium.

• Rappahanno­ck Rapidan Community Services meets on Tuesday, March 10, at 1 p.m. at 15361 Bradford Road, Culpeper. Individual­s with disabiliti­es who require special assistance to attend should contact Jeanette Nord at 540-825-3100, Ext. 3146.

• The Town of Washington is accepting applicatio­ns to fill a vacancy on the Architectu­ral Review Board. Applicants must be a resident of the Town of Washington. Applicatio­ns will be accepted until March 8. Submit your applicatio­n to townofwash­ington@washington­va.gov or in person at the Town Clerk's office at 567 Mt. Salem Ave, Room 3, Washington.

• Culpeper County Library is proud to introduce a series of seminars taught by local profession­als hoping to learn things not necessaril­y taught in school. Adulting 101 topics describe the responsibl­e needs in life-stage events including money management, home buying process, car buying, work-life balance, and more in themed seminars. The second Adulting 101 concept, to be held March 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Meeting Room of the library, is the Home Buying Process led by realtor John Fischer, insurance agent Stephen King, and mortgage loan officer Chandler Clark. • The Restore Rappahanno­ck meeting place is now at the Viewtown store, 105 Viewtown Road, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. every Thursday. Food, coffee, and fellowship. Come out and support each meeting.

• The Culpeper Soil & Water Conservati­on District is seeking interested adults to coach teams of high school students through a school-year-long environmen­tal science competitio­n called Envirothon. Students will learn stewardshi­p and management concepts and work to solve real world environmen­tal problems in a field-oriented setting.
