▶ Rappahannock County Water & Sewer Authority meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. today ( ursday, Sept. 9) at the Sperryville Rescue Squad Building, 12 Main St., Sperryville. ▶ Rappahannock County Recreational Facilities Authority meeting to be held at 5:30 p.m. today ( ursday, Sept. 9) at the Park Pavilion, 7 Park Lane, Washington. ▶ Anyone interested in serving on the Town of Washington’s Architectural Review Board should submit a letter of intent to the clerk by Sept. 10.
▶ Rappahannock Rapidan Community Services transportation will not operate on Friday, Sept 10, due to an Employee In-Service Training.
▶ e Washington Town Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, Sept. 13, at 7 p.m. at Town Hall to authorize a special use permit, to rezone a portion of the property at the intersection of Warren Avenue and Leggett Lane, and amend the sewer service district. e council will also consider applicants for the Architectural Review Board vacancy.
▶ e School Board meeting will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 14, at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium at the high school.
▶ A Fire Levy Board meeting will be held at 6 p. m. on Tuesday, Sept. 14, at the Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad building, 12 Main Street, Sperryville.
▶ On Tuesday, Sept. 14, from noon to 5 p. m. regularly scheduled maintenance will be done on the water lines in the Town of Washington. During this time please limit water use and contact the town clerk for more information.
▶ e Old Hollow Reunion will be held Sunday, Sept. 12, at 1 p.m. at Thornton Gap Regular Baptist Church in Sperryville. Bring food and joy. Masks and social distancing are recommended. For more information, call 540-4218489.
