› How To: Pick & Mount a Trail Truck Body

Improve your truck’s performance with little to no money!

- By Kevin Hetmanski

Before you pick out a body, find out what your truck’s wheelbase is so you can match it up with the proper size. This information can generally be found in the truck manual or on the manufacturer’s website.

If that info isn’t available, you can measure the distance between the centers of each wheel to get the wheelbase measurement. You can also head to your local hobby shop and measure the wheelbase of the body there and compare it to your truck.
