TRAXXAS SLASH DRAG TRUCK

DANIEL PORTER PHILADELPHIA, PA

-

Daniel runs his Drag Slash 2WD so that he can use the staggeredsize wheels, but he started with the 4X4 version because he tells us he likes the feel of the more balanced weight of the 4X4 chassis. Getting those meaty GRP rear tires moving is a Castle Creations MM2 speed control and a Poseidon 2650KV motor. He also installed a Castle BEC and Cappack to make sure his controls stay fully powered when making speed runs. E-revo shocks keep the extra weight under control, while an RC Reaper wheelie bar and a homemade rear wing keep it planted. MIP X-duty axles (narrowed in the rear) and a Tekno big-bore center driveshaft are used to handle the extra power.
