TRUCK TWO-FER: VATERRA AND TAMIYA

Daniel’s tow rig is a Vaterra Ascender that he lightly modified with 2.2 aluminum wheels, a set of stainless-steel links, and a custom scale interior. The teal trailer queen is a heavily modded Tamiya CC-01, which has lowered chassis rails and a 3-link setup in the rear to reproduce that bagged shop truck stance. Daniel even hand-built the trailer! For Daniel’s whole life, his dad has owned a C-10 short-bed Chevy, so Daniel is a huge fan of the Pro-line ’66 Chevy shell that both trucks wear.
