Spektrum DX2E Active Radio System
The Spektrum DX2E Active looks basic but packs in quite a few features. A three-position switch lets you select 100%, 75%, and 50% throttle settings to dial back power, which is handy for noobs or for dialing back power when running 3S in conditions that make it hard to put full power down. There’s a dualrate knob, but for the 22S, it’s set to control the Active Vehicle Control electronic stability system. The radio is also expandable with accessories that include an LCD speedometer, smartphone mount, and a Bluetooth module that lets you run Spektrum’s Dashboard app (hence the phone mount).
