Bottom-access Battery Tray
The chassis’ center features a molded-in, upside-down battery tray with a hinged door on the bottom that lets you load and remove the battery without having to remove the body. Cam locks secure the door and require a small tool to open and close it (a coin will also work). The truck comes with small foam pads attached to the tray to take up any space between a 2S pack and the tray itself, but if you’re going to be using a 3S pack, the pads will be set aside. Not having to remove the body to remove the battery is a nice feature, but you still have to get under the body to plug the pack in and turn on the speed control.
