BEARINGS

The bearings in the transmission, rear hubs, and front wheels are there to reduce friction and wear, and out of the box, today’s bearings do a good job of letting everything spin smoothly. Believe it or not, you can get a lot more out of your bearings with two simple modifications. Remove your bearings if your vehicle has already been built, and clean any debris off them before moving on to the next step. If you make these modifications to your bearings, remember to check and maintain them more often.
