Run Lightweight Parts

If there are lightweight parts offered for your vehicle, you may want to consider picking up some or all of those parts to make your vehicle as light as possible. Lightweight drivetrain parts are especially smart upgrades. Make sure you pay attention to the minimum weight for your class and don’t go below that. Parts like aluminum top shafts, titanium turnbuckles, drilled hexes, and so on will do a great job of minimizing rotating mass.

A GOOD DRIVER WILL NATURALLY DO WELL IN THIS CLASS, BUT THE ONE WHO TINKERS THE MOST IN THE PITS WILL HAVE AN ADVANTAGE.
