FINAL THOUGHTS

I’ve been excited about the no prep drag racing scene for a while and am really happy to have a purpose built car in my collection. I really love the look of my Traxxas Slash based machine and it’s fun to drive. I want to get more test and tune sessions under my belt then I’ll work on getting some grudge matches lined up.

Right now some of my modifications consist of front and rear sway bars to help the car track straight and to keep the body from rubbing in the turns, a custom wheelie bar to get the launches just right, a few drivetrain tricks to make it faster and a few other things. I look forward to learning more about my car and showing you what I did to improve it in the next article.
