Traxxas 4S Charger/battery Completer Pack

When you pick up a new RC car, chances are that you’ll have to pick up a battery and charger to get it up and running. The price of that battery and charger can add up and be a pretty expensive second buy. Traxxas however has a way to help their customers when it comes to that purchase and it’s through a battery and charger combo that puts the two in one box and saves you a little money by doing it. In this case you get a 4S Lipo and an Ez-peak Live charger. The 4S is perfect for the Traxxas Maxx and the Ez-peak Live charger can be used in conjunction with a clever app from Traxxas. The Ex-peak Live charger comes in at 5.24 x 6.65 x 2.17 inches which is great because it won’t take up much space on your work space. The injection molded case comes in Traxxas’ familiar blue plastic with some decorative stickers to dress it up. Vents on the sides and top of the charger allow air to flow by the electronics and a large brushless fan ensures that it flows well. Its single port in the front will accept first gen plugs, first gen plugs with balance plugs, high current ID plugs and high current 4S plugs. When using ID plugs the charger automatically knows what type of battery it is and how many cells it has. If you use other types of plugs you have to choose the battery type and plug the balance plug into the balance ports next to the main port. It can also charge NIMH type batteries from 6-cell packs up to larger 8-cell units. Operating the charger is easy to do through the buttons on the top of the charger but you can make charging easier and open the door to more information and adjustment by using the Traxxas app and connecting to your device through Bluetooth.
