Rams dip below .500
After winning Thursday’s Elk County Tournament consolation game on Thursday in St. Marys 3-1 over the Rams, the 6-6 Gators dropped the Paper City boys to 6-7 with a 10-7 win on Saturday in Port Allegany.
The loss was the sixth straight for Johnsonburg/Ridgway, which has five games left that count towards District 9 Class 2A playoff seeding.
The Rams City travel to Stern Field in DuBois for a doubleheader against DuBois Central Catholic on Wednesday and make a trip to Emporium to play Cameron County on Friday.
