Open casting auditions for male and female actors for the “Founding Fathers”

The Rome-Floyd County Humane Society is asking for donations of dog food and cat food. Donations can be left at their office, 518 Broad St., Monday through Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Donations can also be contribute­d in special food barrels at Kroger, IGA or Tractor Supply.

The Floyd County Juvenile Court is seeking volunteers to serve as Citizens Panel Review Members. The volunteers review cases of children in custody of the Department of Family and Children Services. After completion of two days of intensive training, volunteers then serve once a month for four hours reviewing deprivatio­n cases. For more informatio­n call 706291-5180.
