From Douglas County Sentinel

— A Cedartown man is facing reckless conduct charges after allegedly having “intimate contact” with a Douglas County woman without revealing he is HIV positive.

Jason Alexander Young, 34, appeared in Douglas County Magistrate Court on Monday charged with seven counts of reckless conduct. Young is accused of approaching victims through various social media outlets.

“This occurred in Douglas County over a period of three months,” Douglas County Sheriff’s Lt. Glenn Daniel said. “The victim stated that they had had intimate relations several times before she found out that the subject was HIV-positive.” He was arrested in Fulton County last week.

The sheriff’s office is asking any woman who has had relations with Young to contact investigator Trent Wilson at 770-920-4907 or twilson@sheriff.douglas. ga.us.
