Florida Tech took home top honors with a 604 (303-301) and was followed by Barry with a 618 (308-310) in second and Keiser in third with 620 (307-313).
Fellow Gulf South Conference members West Florida and West Georgia finished sixth and 12th, respectively.
Paula Oviedo turned in the best individual finish with a two-round total of 154, shaving four strokes off her total in the second round from the first (79-75) to finish tied for ninth.
Gracel Peris was next with a 161 (84- 77) for 40th place overall. Claudia Orrantia and Dallas Vaughn each scored 162 (81-81) to tie for 46th, and Amanda Schwartz closed out the lineup with a 172 (81-91) for the Lady Hawks in 74th.
“I’m proud of the girls for coming out in tough weather conditions for the first tournament of the spring, against a tough field,” said head coach Lane Pace. “Despite beating four teams ranked in the top 20, we still have work to do and are looking forward to competing again in March.”
The Lady Hawks will take a month off before their next competition when they travel to Philadelphia, Mississippi, to compete in the Dancing Rabbit Intercollegiate hosted by West Alabama on March 13-15.
