Man treated at FMC after wreck

-

A Rome man was treated and released from Floyd Medical Center after the Dodge four-door sedan he was riding in overturned on Ga. 53 around 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Renee Hight, 37, of Shannon, said she was driving on Ga. 53 heading inbound with two passengers, Robert Lee Beason, of Rome, and Jason Mount, 38, of Shannon.

According to Floyd County police officer Dallas Bryant:

The right-rear tire blew out and Hight tried to slow down and ease over to the side of the road. As Hight was getting over, she lost control of the car near Willow Road and went off the road and flipped once.

Hight and Mount weren’t injured, but Beason, who was in the back seat, was taken to FMC to be treated.
