ROME TENNIS CIRCUIT TOURNAMENT — Rome Tennis Circuit will host its Back to School Championships junior tennis tournament Saturday at Darlington School at 8 a.m. The tournament is for players ages 6 to 18. The tournament will cost $22.50 for singles and doubles and $27 to play in both competitions. Players can sign up at www.rometennisacademy.com. Players can use the code “schoolsback” for $3 off registration. The deadline for entry is today at 11:59 p.m.
TENNIS FESTIVAL OPEN HOUSE — The Rome Tennis Center at Berry College will host a free tennis festival open house for children in grades pre-K through 12th. The open house for grades pre-K through fifth will be Monday from 5:30 to 7 p.m.; grades sixth through eighth will be 7 to 8:30 p.m.; and grades ninth through 12th will be Aug. 31 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Activities will be tailored for each age group.
