Truckload of goods leaves for Louisiana
A truckload of goods collected by the Floyd County Police Department, sheriff’s office and Rome Police Department is being hauled to Louisiana to help the flood victims. The truck and trailer, provided by Rome-based Scott Logistics, left late Saturday. The items were collected as part of BLUE — Benefitting Louisiana with Uniformed Encouragement, event.
