HUTCHESON’S

Mr. Michael Eugene Rice, age 38, of Shannon, formerly of Buchanan, passed away Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016.

Mr. Rice was born in Kennesaw, Georgia on November 17, 1977. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Ann Miller Frankson; and a sister, Vicky Rice.

Survivors include his companion, Rita Tillman of Buchanan; father, Michael Wayne Rice of Shannon; sisters, Karen Langford of Clarksville, Tenn., Wendy (Joe) Ray of Whitesburg and Melanie (Ronald) Driver of Carrollton; brother, Jim Rice of Acworth; nieces, Ashley Ray, Lexie Ray, Kaley Driver, Lauren Driver, Shelby Pool, Kiara Pool and Denise Langford; nephew, Landon Driver; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016, at 2 p.m. from Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Tony Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Buchanan City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
