Report: Man, woman broke into home

A Calhoun man and a Cave Spring woman remained in jail Friday without bond after being accused of burglary.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Gerardo Mondragon Silva, 30, of 113 Peter St., Calhoun, and Kayla Nichole McBee, 22, of 55 Craven St., Cave Spring, were arrested Friday at 1:52 p.m. at a Cave Spring address after they entered a woman’s apartment without permission and took several items.

Silva also gave police a false name and date of birth. Silva is charged with felony burglary and a misdemeano­r count of giving false name and date of birth to an officer.

McBee is charged with felony burglary.
