Rome man charged with meth possession
A Rome man remained in jail Friday pending a $10,100 bond after he allegedly tried to dispose of methamphetamine during a police investigation in East Rome.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Robert Adam Trotter, 38, of 2028 Maple Ave., was being questioned about a domestic incident by police near the intersection of Maple and East 20th Street around 4 p.m. Thursday. While being questioned, Trotter dropped a bag of meth and tried to kick it away from him.
He was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and probation violation.
