Don’t Miss: “The Walking Dead” — Are you nervous? Of course you are. One of the most harrowing TVcliffhangers in recent memory finally gets resolved as the zombie mega-hit returns for its seventh season. When last seen, many of our intrepid survivors had just been captured by the ruthless villain Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). Wielding a Louisville Slugger covered in barbed wire, he was poised to use one of them for batting practice. But who? We’re about to find out — while peering through our fingers.

9 p.m. Sunday, AMC.

Best bets:

Sunday: By now, it’s blatantly clear that “Westworld” isn’t exactly the happiest place on earth. Tonight, Dolores joins William and Logan on a potentially dangerous bounty hunt in the badlands. 9 p.m., HBO.

Monday: “Friends” alum Matt LeBlanc returns to network television in the new sitcom “Man With a Plan.” He plays a contractor who starts spending more time with his three kids when his wife (Liza Snyder) goes back to work. We sense trouble — for him and the show. 8:30 p.m., CBS.

Tuesday: Break out the peanuts and Cracker Jack, it’s World Series time again. Major League Baseball’s Fall Classic gets under way in the home of the American League champ. 5 p.m. PT, Fox.

Wednesday: “Rectify,” one of television’s best dramas, kicks off its farewell season. Former death-row inmate Daniel Holden (Aden Young) is technically a free man, but that doesn’t mean his new life in Nashville isn’t without complications. 10 p.m., Sundance TV.
