West End Elementary showed real support for crossing guards

-

Many thanks to Mrs. Murphy and students at West End Elementary School for Crossing Guard Appreciation Day. Mrs. Studdard and I were welcomed on the school’s TV Good Morning Program. Mrs. Murphy presented us with flowers and thank you cards that the students had made.

It is great to know how much we are appreciated.

We are there because we want to be and we love the children.

However, we are not the only ones out there in the weather. Teachers are out there every morning to greet the students and opening car doors for the little ones.

They are out there in the afternoon to get car riders lined up and in the right car. Hats off to these teachers.
