Day Star looking to hire 20

CEDARTOWN — The Georgia Department of Labor’s Cedartown Career Center will host a recruitment event for Day Star Staffing on Wednesday.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the career center, 262 N. Park Blvd. Day Star is looking to hire 20 full-time quality inspectors to work in Bremen.

Because of U.S. Occupational Safety and Health regulations, all applicants must be at least 18 years old. A high school diploma or a GED is required.

Manufacturing experience is preferred. Applicants must be able to lift 25 pounds, stand or walk for an extended amount of time, work in different climates, and work flexible schedules and overtime. Salaries will begin at $11 an hour.

Applicants are encouraged to bring a resume and dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for jobs.
