Day Star looking to hire 20

CEDARTOWN — The Georgia Department of Labor’s Cedartown Career Center will host a recruitmen­t event for Day Star Staffing on Wednesday.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the career center, 262 N. Park Blvd. Day Star is looking to hire 20 full-time quality inspectors to work in Bremen.

Because of U.S. Occupation­al Safety and Health regulation­s, all applicants must be at least 18 years old. A high school diploma or a GED is required.

Manufactur­ing experience is preferred. Applicants must be able to lift 25 pounds, stand or walk for an extended amount of time, work in different climates, and work flexible schedules and overtime. Salaries will begin at $11 an hour.

polkstanda­rdjournal. Hospital Foundation and Northwest Georgia Paving, the walking trail, which is now open, was designed to promote physical activity and features exercise stations throughout the path located on the hospital’s property.

The event is open to the public. Light refreshmen­ts will be served. All who attend will be invited to include their wish for Gordon Hospital in a 25year time capsule.
