Arsenal teams run into tough competitio­n in weekend matches

The Rome YMCA’s Arsenal Select teams posted a 2-4 record this past weekend to bring their season record to 22-20-5.

The G14 team lost to first place Oconee 1-0. Hayley Alred recorded nine saves in goal. Arsenal’s 5-2-1 record keeps them in third place in the division. Malone Christen is second in scoring in the division with six goals.

The G15 B team lost to first place SSA Chelsea Yellow 2-1 last Saturday. On Sunday the Arsenal team beat second place Roswell Santos Blue 6-0. Their 2-1 record has them in fourth place.
