Buddy Copeland

Buddy Copeland died April 21 in Tallahassee, Florida. He was born February 27, 1946, the son of J.B. and Helen Studard Copeland. He graduated from West Rome high school in 1963 and the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in textile engineering. He is survived by two sisters, Sondra Williams and Lesa Ashmore, two sons, David and Chris, four grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Buddy was an avid golfer and loved to fish. He was a sweet, gentle soul who left this earth too soon. A memorial service will be held on Lake Weiss Saturday, May 6. Those interested in attending can email david_copeland@comcast.net for details.
