The Rotary Club of Rome will host video tours of America with John English on Thursday. The club meets Thursdays at noon at Coosa Country Club, 110 Branham Ave.

The New Horizons Band will have an organizati­onal meeting on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in Franklin Hall at Shorter University. The group is made of members 50 years old or older who either played a band instrument in school and haven’t played in many years or would like to learn to play an instrument and play in a group setting. New Life Church of God, 210 E. 18th St., will host Third Street Ministries on Saturday as they give away free spring clothing between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. A prayer station will be set up.

The AIDS Resource Council’s fourth annual Derby Bash fundraiser will be held Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. at 507 E. Third St. A donation of $25 per person is suggested. For more informatio­n call 706-290-9098.

Habitat for Humanity-Coosa Valley will be holding a family selection meeting at the library, 205 Riverside Parkway, on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. and May 8 at 6 p.m.
