OL’ COTTON MILL ROAD RACE — The 16th annual Ol’ Cotton Mill Road Race, sponsored by the Pepperell High softball team, will take place Saturday at Pepperell High School. Registrati­on will take place through the day of the race. The 5K race will start at 9 a.m. and 1-mile fun run/walk will begin at 9:30 a.m. Fruit and water will be available to all runners. ROME LIONS CLUB GOLF TOURNAMENT — The Rome Lions Club Golf Tournament will take place May 19 at Stonebridg­e Golf Club with a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start. RUN FOR THE HOMELESS 5K — The Run for the Homeless 5K, 2-mile walk and 1-mile run will be May 20 beginning at Harbin Clinic Neurology, 550 Redmond Road. The 5K starts at 8 a.m. and will wind through the Summervill­e Park neighborho­od, the 2-mile family fun walk will start at 8 a.m. and the 1-mile run will start at 9 a.m. The cost is $15 for the 1-mile and 2-mile, and $20 for the 5K. BERRY YOUTH FOOTBALL CAMP — The fourth annual Coach K Football Camps Inc. Youth Football Camp will be held May 30 through June 2 from 8-11:30 a.m. each day on Bob Williams Field at Valhalla.
