Catoosa Habitat launching website

-

RINGGOLD —Habitat for Humanity of Catoosa County has launched its new website at catoosahabitat.org.

The website was built in collaboration with Firespring, a website design company, who engineered the look of catoosahabitat.org.

“We wanted to engage the millennial crowd, especially with online giving.” said Penny Mahon, HFHCC’s executive director. “Millennials are always online and with the new website we can better engage them to become involved with Habitat.”

HFHCC also wants its new website to increase its visibility in the community and give people the chance to learn more about its affiliate. On the website visitors will be able to read about the different programs at HFHCC, give a one-time or monthly donation to the affiliate, and be informed of volunteer opportunities in their area.

“This website is just one part of the revitalization of our affiliate to better serve Catoosa County,” Mahon said.

HFHCC is also starting a new fundraising initiative titled “Adopt-aHouse Sponsorship” where local business can give donations at various levels to help in the building of a new home. Investing in the Adopt-a-House sponsorship with HFHCC is a way for organizations to give back to their community in a very visible and tangible way.
