Third Friday Night Cruise-In will hold its antique and classic vehicle cruise-in Friday at 6 p.m. at the East Rome Burger King, at 1323 Turner McCall Blvd. Cruise-In’s are the third Friday of every month. Shannon Lodge 100 will host a car show this Saturday at West Rome Baptist Church. Registrati­on opens at 9 a.m. and awards will be presented at 1 p.m. There is a $20 registrati­on fee for cars but no admission fee for the public Funds raised by the event will be used to benefit programs in the Model school district.

The Northwest Georgia Winds and the Three Rivers Singers will present a concert titled “America the Beautiful” on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Rome City Auditorium on Broad Street. Admission is free.

The 34th annual Armuchee Memorial Day Bluegrass Festival will be held May 25-28 at Armuchee Music Park, 899 Turkey Mountain Road, Armuchee. Three-day passes are $21. The festivitie­s will start at 6 p.m. on May 25 with the jam-along and cookout, free to anyone with a three-day pass and a covered dish. The festivitie­s will start at 4:45 p.m. on May 26 with $10 admission, and at 10:45 a.m. on May 27 with $12 admission. Campsites are available for a fee. The Fairview School will host its seventh annual BBQ Friday, May 26 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Purchase available at Rome Civic Center, 400 Civic Center Drive, and the Cave Spring Welcome Center, Cave Spring. Whole Boston butts $30, rack of ribs $30, dinner plates with chicken leg quarter or pulled pork and slaw and baked beans $10, sandwiches $6. Proceeds will benefit the restoratio­n of the Fairview School, Cave Spring.

The Chieftains Museum/ Major Ridge Home will host History Explorers Camp for fourth-grade students June 14-16 from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. daily. The camp costs $30 per student. Registrati­on forms for the camp must be submitted to Chieftains Museum by June 5. Registrati­on is limited to 30 students.

Chieftains Museum/Major Ridge Home will host its Family Free Day at the museum June 17 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free. The event will feature members of the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Nation.

The Sulzbacher Roman Holiday, the city of Rome’s public excursion boat, is offering public tours at 2 p.m. the first Sunday of each month through September. Each tour is limited to 40 passengers.
