The ACC just had its spring meetings, and there was a lot of crowing coming from the conference boasting about being the top overall college league.

The ACC’s Clemson won the football title, the ACC’s North Carolina won the basketball title, and the ACC was successful nine times in 12 bowls — 4-1 against the SEC. In fact, the regular season head-tohead with the SEC showed the ACC taking 10 of 14 games. “I don’t know if it gets any better than that from a competitive stand point,” said Commissioner John Swofford. Now it’s time for the SEC to begin its howling.
