American Legion Post 52 Korean War

Veterans, 1205 Calhoun Ave., will host the Ladies’ Auxiliary Yard Sale on Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and on May 29, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. There will be barbecue plates and Brunswick stew for sale. Hunt will be recognized for their years of supo port to the Boys Home; Gretta Wilson, retired President of the Open Door Home, will be recognize for her years of service and dedication; and Lynn Rousseau, new executive director of Open Door Home, will be introduced.

The Rotary Club of Rome will host Barb Beninato, executive director of the Rome Symphony Orchestra, on June 1 at noon. The club meets at Coosa Country Club.
