2 jailed on meth charges
A man and woman were in jail without bond Saturday night after police found methamphetamine in a car they were in at the West Rome Wal-Mart on Friday night, reports stated.
According to Floyd County Jail reports: Robert Grant Stinson Jr., 46, of 1 Gray Rock Drive, and Jennifer Nicole Dickerson, 29, of 512 Cone Drive, Fort Oglethorpe, were arrested around 7:30 a.m. Friday at 2510 Redmond Circle. Police found two bags containing a white crystal substance inside a cigarette pack in the glove box of a vehicle they were in. A glass smoking device was also found in the vehicle.
Both Stinson and Dickerson are charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug-related objects.
Stinson also had warrants out for his arrest, and is additionally charged with felony financial transaction card fraud and three felony probation violations.
The financial transaction card fraud charge relates to an incident where he allegedly paid for services at Goodyear Auto Service Center, 1613 Shorter Ave., with a financial transaction card that didn’t belong to him and he didn’t have permission to use.
