WOLF NATION RUNNING CAMP — Wolf Nation Running Camp 2017 will be June 19-23 on the campus of Rome High School and Rome Middle School for rising third- through eighth-graders. The cost is $40 per camper and camp lasts from 8-11:30 a.m. each day. Registration closes today. Instruction will include warm-up and cool-down techniques, correct running form and training. BIG BLUE FOOTBALL CAMP — The Model High School football program is presenting the Big Blue Football Camp Monday through Thursday at the high school for kids in first grade through upcoming eighth-graders. Each day’s session is from 9 a.m. to noon, and the cost is $60 per child, which includes a T-shirt, as well as breakfast and lunch each day. ROME HIGH LADY WOLVES SOCCER CAMP — The Rome High Lady Wolves Soccer Camp will be Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon each day at Barron Stadium. The cost of the camp is $60, which includes a T-shirt and a daily snack. Each player will have the opportunity to work on specific skills geared toward them. TEACH ME TENNIS SUMMER CAMPS — Teach Me Tennis will host its second year of summer camps Monday through Friday,and June 13-16 at Shorter University. Registration is open to rising first- through fifth-graders on a firstcome, first-serve basis, and will be capped at 40 participants. BERRY SOFTBALL CAMPS — Berry College’s softball coaches will host three separate camps this summer. A pitching clinic will be held Monday and July 17 from 6-8 p.m. each day. The cost is $40 per clinic or $70 for both. An elite camp will be held Tuesday and July 11 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day. The cost is $95 per camp or $180 for both. MLb YOUTH BASEBALL CAMP — The MLb Youth Baseball Camp, formerly the Hawks Baseball Camp, will be held for three five-day sessions in June at the baseball fields “behind the levee” in Riverview Park. Directed by Matt Larry, the camp is Monday through Friday, June 12-16 and June 26-30. Each session is $95 per player and includes a video and T-shirt. BERRY SOCCER CAMPS — Berry College will host soccer day camps for children ages 6-14 from Monday through Friday and July 17-21. Each day lasts from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Early drop off and late pick up are available. The cost is $210 per person and campers get lunch, a T-shirt and a ball while also getting to finish each day in the Berry College swimming pool. LADY DRAGONS SOCCER CAMP — The Pepperell High School girls soccer program will host a camp for girls in kindergarten through fifth grade June 1216 from 9 a.m. to noon each day. The coaching staff will include the high school and middle school coaches. Accommodations will be made for all levels of ability centering on individual skills and tactics. Registration will be at the Pepperell High School practice field on June 12 at 9 a.m. The cost for the week is $60, which includes a daily snack and a T-shirt. LADY DRAGONS TEAM CAMP — The Pepperell High School and Middle School girls soccer teams will have a joint team camp June 12-16 from 1:304:30 p.m. This camp is for rising sixth- through 12th-grade girls who played this past season and those who would like to play next season. COOSA JUNIOR EAGLE YOUTH BASKETBALL CAMP — Coosa High will host its boys youth basketball camp, for those entering the second grade up to the eighth grade, June 12-15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day in the new gym. ROME BRAVES BASEBALL CAMP — The Rome Braves will host their annual youth baseball camp June 13-15 at State Mutual Stadium. The camp is open to children ages 4-14 and the cost is $150 per child. Each camper will receive instruction from Rome Braves players and coaching staff, a ticket to the Rome Braves’ game for each day of the camp, on-field recognition prior to the game on June 15, lunch each day and a T-shirt.
