YMCA ARSENAL SOCCER TRYOUTS — Tryouts for YMCA Arsenal Rome Select level soccer teams at Grizzard Park will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at Grizzard Park. CALLIER SPRINGS GOLF TOURNAMENT — A two-person scramble golf tournament will take place Saturday and Sunday in memory of Ida Mae Russell. Tee times are at 9 a.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. The cost is $75 per player, $20 per mulligan. A catered dinner will be held Saturday at 7 p.m. Non-players can pay $15 to attend.

MLb YOUTH BASEBALL CAMP — The MLb Youth Baseball Camp, formerly the Hawks Baseball Camp, will be held in separate five-day sessions in June at the baseball fields “behind the levee” in Riverview Park. Directed by Matt Larry, the camp is Monday through June 16 and June 26-30. Each session is $95 per player and includes a video and T-shirt. TEACH ME TENNIS SUMMER CAMPS — Teach Me Tennis will host its second year of summer camps Tuesday through June 16 at Shorter University. Registrati­on is open to rising first- through fifth-graders on a first-come, first-serve basis, and will be capped at 40 participan­ts. BASEBALL CAMP AT BERRY — David Beasley Baseball Camps at Berry College for students in kindergart­en through 12th grade. Session 1: pitching and hitting, Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to noon, $125. Session 2: position and hitting, June 26-29, 9 a.m. to noon, $125. Session 3: father & son baseball camp (K through 8th), June 26, 3 to 6 p.m.; June 26-28, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., $250 for a father/son pair and $50 per additional son. LADY DRAGONS SOCCER CAMP — The Pepperell High School girls soccer program will host a camp for girls in kindergart­en through fifth grade Monday through June 16 from 9 a.m. to noon each day. The coaching staff will include the high school and middle school coaches. Accommodat­ions will be made for all levels of ability centering on individual skills and tactics. Registrati­on will be at the Pepperell High School practice field on Monday at 9 a.m. The cost for the week is $60, which includes a daily snack and a T-shirt. LADY DRAGONS TEAM CAMP — The Pepperell High School and Middle School girls soccer teams will have a joint team camp Monday through June 16 from 1:30-4:30 p.m. This camp is for rising sixth- through 12thgrade girls who played this past season and those who would like to play next season. COOSA JUNIOR EAGLE YOUTH BASKETBALL CAMP — Coosa High will host its boys youth basketball camp, for those entering the second grade up to the eighth grade, Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day in the new gym. ROME BRAVES BASEBALL CAMP — The Rome Braves will host their annual youth baseball camp Tuesday through Thursday at State Mutual Stadium. The camp is open to children ages 4-14 and the cost is $150 per child. Each camper will receive instructio­n from Rome Braves players and coaching staff, a ticket to the Rome Braves’ game for each day of the camp, onfield recognitio­n prior to the game on June 15, lunch each day and a T-shirt. YMCA ARSENAL SUMMER CAMP — YMCA Arsenal Rome will hold a half-day summer youth soccer camp June 19-23 and July 10-14 from 8:30 a.m. to noon each day for kids ages 4-15 at Grizzard Park. HOOPS PHI BASKETBALL CAMP — Hoops Phi Basketball Camp will be held June 24 at Rome High School from 9 a.m. to noon. The camp fee is a donation of school supplies. BERRY SOCCER CAMPS — Berry College will host a soccer day camp for children ages 6-14 from July 17-21. Each day lasts from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Early drop off and late pick up are available. The cost is $210 per person and campers get lunch, a T-shirt and a ball while also getting to finish each day in the Berry College swimming pool.
