How it happened:

Mitchell Gunsolus hit a run-scoring double in the ninth inning, leading the Greenville Drive to a 4-3 win over the Rome Braves. Stephen Nogosek got Cristian Pache to ground out with a runner on second to end the game for his 13th save of the season. Nick Lovullo scored on Gunsolus’ double after he reached base with a double. ovullo hit a sacrifice fly, scoring Ryan Scott in the second inning to give the Drive a 1-0 lead. The Braves came back to take a 2-1 lead in the fifth inning when Pache hit an RBI single and Brett Cumberland hit a sacrifice fly. Greenville regained the lead 3-2 after it scored two runs in the eighth inning on a sacrifice hit by Santiago Espinal that scored Lorenzo Cedrola and Chris Madera. Rome tied the game 3-3 in the eighth when Cumberland hit a solo home run. (From The Associated Press)

On the mound: Matthew Gorst (3-2) got the win in relief while Jon Kennedy (5-1) took the loss in the South Atlantic League game.
