BEAA GOLF TOURNAMENT — BEAA Golf Course, 127 Eden Valley Road, will host a two-person low/low ball scramble July 8-9. Shot gun starts will be at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on both days. COOSA HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL CAMP — Coosa High School’s Camp Boom volleyball camp will take place July 10-12 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The camp coaches will be head volleyball coach Nic Hann and former Cartersvil­le and club coach Carson Laye. Current Coosa volleyball players will make up the camp staff. Registrati­on will begin at 8:30 a.m. the first day of the camp. The cost will be $40, which includes a camp T-shirt. YMCA ARSENAL SUMMER CAMP — YMCA Arsenal Rome will hold a half-day summer youth soccer camp July 10-14 from 8:30 a.m. to noon each day for kids ages 4-15 at Grizzard Park. The cost is $75 for YMCA members and $100 for potential members. Children will receive instructio­n from licensed Arsenal coaches. Registrati­on can be done at the Rome YMCA, 810 E. BERRY SOFTBALL CAMPS — Berry College’s softball coaches will host camps this summer. An elite camp will be July 11 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The cost is $95. BERRY SOCCER CAMPS — Berry College will host a soccer day camp for children ages 6-14 from July 17-21. Each day lasts from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Early drop off and late pick up are available. The cost is $210 per person and campers get lunch, a T-shirt and a ball while also getting to finish each day in the Berry College swimming pool. VOLLEYBALL CLINICS — Rome Area Volleyball Club is offering volleyball skills clinics for anyone age 8-18 during July at Shorter University’s Winthrop-King Centre.
