ROME-FLOYD PARKS AND REC CAMP SCHEDULE

Swimming Lessons: Learn to swim and stay safe in or near water. Lessons are offered for ages 6 months and up. Classes are offered in two-week sessions, eight classes, 45 minutes each, Monday through Thursday. Class levels are parents and toddlers, 6 months to 2 years old, preschool, ages 2 to 5, and Level 1 and 2, ages 6 and up. The cost is $45. Register at rfpra.com/ northsides­wimcenter. Session III: July 10-20, 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m — Sign up by Monday.

Camp H20: Grab your towels, swimsuit and sunscreen; if it has water, we are getting into it. A few days of tubing, waterslide­s, swimming and more is included in the camp that runs from July 24-28. Participan­ts must be between the ages of 8 and 14. The camp starts at 8:30 a.m. — participan­ts should meet at the Parks and Rec administra­tive office at 1 Shorter Ave. Pickup times will be based on the daily activity. The cost is $200. Register by July 7 — space is limited.

Camp Anthony: Each week of Camp Anthony follows a schedule of fun, structured activities, including games, contests, swimming and a weekly trip. The camp provides breakfast and lunch through the federal food program. Register for all summer or pick and choose your weeks — the camp runs from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m and is open to children ages 4 to 13. If your child wants to bring his/her lunch, please label the bag. We are a high-energy camp and kids need a morning snack and a lunch that will see them through to afternoon snack, which we provide. The cost is $100 per week.
