The magazine will include glossy pull-out schedules for high school and college football games.

Rome News-Tribune’s annual Pigskin Preview has been combined with Rome Life magazine to give local readers a fresh new look at the upcoming football season. And we’ve got everything football fans want to know about.

Prep football coverage for each city and county school spotlights players and coaches, and includes band and cheer features as well.

We’re also looking ahead to Berry College’s and Shorter University’s football seasons.

And, of course, the magazine previews SEC and ACC schools as well. Georgia and Georgia Tech previews will be included in Sunday’s Sports section of the Rome News-Tribune.

As a special treat to our readers, we’ve also included two large, glossy pullout schedules — one for local high school teams and the other for college teams. You can remove those from the magazine and put them in a prominent place at home or on your desk at work so all your game schedules are a just a glance away.

And it wouldn’t be Rome Life magazine without highlights of local life. We’ve got fashion, travel, family and as usual, columns by Otis Raybon, Lee Walburn and Severo Avila.

This football issue of Rome Life magazine goes out to readers on Sunday. The magazine is included in all home deliveries of the Rome News-Tribune and is also available with the purchase of single copies of the Sunday newspaper.

We hope you enjoy this exciting version of our Pigskin Preview tradition.
