The City of Rome and Floyd County will offer a Pop-Up Dog Park on Sept. 24 at Riverside Park, 1 Redwood St., from 1-4 p.m. Small dogs play on the hour and big dogs play on the half hour. To enter, owners must show proof of current rabies vaccination. Owners are responsible for the action of their dogs and must clean up after their pets. All dogs must be on a leash until they enter the park and use of the park is at your own risk. PAWS, 99 North Ave., will have information about their services, photos of dogs currently available for adoption and host an open house from 1-5 p.m. For questions contact Bryan King at 706-236-4473. host Ridge Ferry Films at Ridge Ferry Park, 363 Riverside Parkway, on Sept. 23.
