The City of Rome and Floyd County will offer a Pop-Up Dog Park on Sept. 24 at Riverside Park, 1 Redwood St., from 1-4 p.m. Small dogs play on the hour and big dogs play on the half hour. To enter, owners must show proof of current rabies vaccinatio­n. Owners are responsibl­e for the action of their dogs and must clean up after their pets. All dogs must be on a leash until they enter the park and use of the park is at your own risk. PAWS, 99 North Ave., will have informatio­n about their services, photos of dogs currently available for adoption and host an open house from 1-5 p.m. For questions contact Bryan King at 706-236-4473. host Ridge Ferry Films at Ridge Ferry Park, 363 Riverside Parkway, on Sept. 23.
