The Floyd County Farmers Market at Ridge Ferry Park will run every Saturday and Wednesday from 7 to 11:30 a.m., ending

Inc. will host Empower Youth, a workshop on the prevention of sexual exploitation of middle school youth, on Sept. 21 from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at Georgia Northwestern Technical College, Conference Building H, Room 101A, 1 Maurice Culberson Drive. College will hold Industrial Career Day on Sept. 21 from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. in Industrial Alley at the Floyd County Campus, 1 Maurice Culberson Drive. High school students and members of the community will get a chance to explore various industrial careers and skilled trades. Visitors should report to the front desk in the A Building. The event is free and open to the public.
