Sept. 16, 2016; Calhoun won 57-12 OUTLOOK: The always dynamic Calhoun Jackets have had a couple weeks to process a 58-6 loss to Cartersville, and Coahulla Creek will be on the receiving end of their frustration. A Region 6-3A crossover game, the matchup is lopsided as the Colts haven’t worked out their growing pains just yet. Calhoun has outscored Coahulla Creek 179-19 in three meetings. The start of the season has been a trial by fire for Sonoraville, and the Phoenix have come out a more balanced team. With a more proficient passing game emerging against Dalton last week, Sonoraville should have an advantage against the Warriors of LFO, who got their first win last week. Coming off its first loss of the season, Trion will look to get back on track against a Bowdon team that is down from recent years.
