The American Red Cross and Sport Clips Haircuts are offering free haircuts to blood or platelet donors who give during September. Donors will receive a coupon for a free haircut via email several days after their donation. The coupon is valid through Nov. 11 at participat­ing Sport Clips locations.

Donors must have a valid email address on record to receive the coupon. Make an appointmen­t to donate using the free Blood Donor App, online at redcrossbl­ood.org or by calling 1-800-733-2767.

The Floyd County Farmers Market at Ridge Ferry Park will run every Saturday and Wednesday from 7 to 11:30 a.m., ending on Oct.
