The Moon Gallery at Berry College presents “Bad, Bold, Wiser” in clay and mixed media through Thursday. The exhibit is by ceramic sculptor and Berry Visiting Assistant Professor of Art Kelly Stevenson. Stevenson’s work has been shown at Auburn University, Abernathy Arts Center, The Clay Studio in Philadelph­ia and most recently in an installati­on on the Yellowston­e River. There will be an artist reception at 5 p.m. today. The Moon Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.

Georgia Northweste­rn Technical College will hold Industrial Career Day on Thursday from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. in Industrial Alley at the Floyd County Campus, 1 Maurice Culberson Drive. High school students and members of the community will get a chance to explore various industrial careers and skilled trades. Visitors should report to the front desk in the A Building. The event is free and open to the public.

The Georgia Northweste­rn Technical College horticultu­re program is holding a fall mum sale outside Building L at the campus, 1 Maurice Culberson Drive, throughout the month of September from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 3-7 p.m. on Thursdays and from 9 a.m.noon on Fridays. The sale will continue until Sept. 29 or sold out. All proceeds from the plant sale will benefit the horticultu­re program. Purchases may be made with cash or check.
