Below are this week’s schedule of clubs and meetings:

Senior Gospel Singers meets every Monday from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Charles C. Parker Senior Center, 1325 Kingston Highway, and at the Shannon Scout Hut in Shag Williams Park, 40 Minshew Road, Shannon, from 12:30-2:30 p.m. every Thursday. The Telephone Retirees will have their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Charles Parker Senior Center, 1325 Kingston Highway. Bring a covered dish. For more informatio­n call 706-8027576.

The Disabled American Veterans of

Chapter 95 will be at the Rome-Floyd County Library, 205 Riverside Parkway, on

Tuesdays from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. to assist veterans in filing benefits claims with the Veterans Administra­tion. Bring all documents pertaining to service and medical records. For questions or to set up an appointmen­t for another time call Donald Phillips at 609410-1076 or Art Cook at 706-314-6411.

The Georgia Mountain Music Club meets Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to noon at the Charles C. Parker Senior Center. Members and guests perform bluegrass, country and gospel music. Visitors are welcome to attend the free program. For more informatio­n call Bob Anderson at 706-767-1815.

Georgia Legal Services Program assistance will be available at the Judicial Courthouse, 3 Government Plaza, Suite 114, on Friday from 9 a.m.-noon to assist lowincome clients in a range of civil matters including TPOs, public benefits, housing, consumer issues, school suspension­s and unemployme­nt. This service is provided on the second Friday of each month by Superior Court Clerk Barbara H. Penson and Georgia Legal Services Program. For more informatio­n call 706-291-5190.
