Weeks - Collum Wedding

MR. and MRS. LUCAS and KATLYN WEEKS

Katlyn Reneé Collum and Lucas Evan Weeks were married at 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 12, 2017 at West Rome Baptist Church.

The bride is the daughter of Kerry Collum of Rome and Reneé and Marty Blankenshi­p of Rome.

She is the granddaugh­ter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Thacker and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Collum, both of Rome. The groom is the son of Edward and Debbie Weeks of Hiram and Valarie Hardee of South Carolina. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Luther Jack Weeks of Dalton; Sharon Culbreth of South Carolina and the late Clarence ‘Pete’ Culbreth of South Carolina.

Pastor Michael Barone Sr. of Rome performed the ceremony. A reception was held at the Forrest Place in Rome immediatel­y following the ceremony.

Katlyn was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father.

Rev. Gene Collum, grandfathe­r of the bride, blessed the rings with a prayer during the ceremony.

Ushers were Boone Blankenshi­p, brother of the bride, and Ryan Weeks, cousin of the groom.

Savannah Crabbe of Chattanoog­a, Tennessee served as Maid of Honor. Hannah Thacker, Blair Addison, Jordan Durden and Montana Collum, all from Rome, were the bridesmaid­s. Best men were Edward Weeks of Hiram, father of the groom and Zach Weeks of Rome. Peyton Collum, Corey Farrow, Jonathan Austin of Rome, and Chandler Carter of Acworth were the groomsmen.

Kennedy Weeks served as the flower girl and Reagan Weeks, the ring bearer, both escorted by Kristie Weeks. Hillary Weeks, sister of the groom, greeted guests upon arrival.

Following their honeymoon to Savannah, the couple resides in Rome.
