McLemore, Estep named All-GSC

In just a few short days, the Lady Hawks open play in the Gulf South Conference Tournament and will do so with a pair of All-GSC selections in tow.

Tiffani Estep earned her second consecutiv­e first team honor, while Cheyenne McLemore received second team honors for the first time.

Estep enters the weekend leading Shorter in kills (280), blocks (111) and hitting percentage (.340); while the totals for blocks and hitting percentage rank second and third in the GSC, respective­ly.

McLemore continues to spearhead of the Lady Hawks defense, turning 476 digs, good for 4.62 per set played, leading the team and ranking fifth in the conference in the category.

The Lady Hawks will open the conference tournament Friday against Alabama Huntsville.
