Don’t Miss: The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade — Strike up the bands. Our day of gastronomical gluttony just wouldn’t be the same without the massive procession in Manhattan, with its fancy floats, cheerleaders, clowns, celebrities and bloated balloons (“Look kids, it’s a giant SpongeBob!”). The 91st annual holiday spectacle returns in all its festive glory as Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie and Al Roker anchor the broadcast. (Telemundo will simulcast the parade in Spanish). 9 a.m. Thursday, NBC.

Sunday: The “American Music Awards” is another chance for trophydeprived pop stars to collect some hardware. Featured performers include Lady Gaga, Pink, Kelly Clarkson, Demi Lovato, BTS, Nick Jonas, Shawn Mendes, Christina Aguilera and Diana Ross, who also receives the lifetime achievement honor.

Monday: The storied career of David Letterman is celebrated with “The Kennedy Center Mark Twain Prize.” On hand to salute the late-night TV legend are Steve Martin, Bill Murray, Amy Schumer, Jimmy Kimmel and many others. 8 p.m., PBS.
Tuesday: “Who Killed Tupac?” is a six-part series that has civil rights attorney Benjamin Crump attempting to uncover exactly what happened on Sept. 7, 1996, when influential rapper Tupac Shakur was gunned down in Las Vegas. The murder remains a cold case. 9 p.m., A&E. Wednesday: “Property Brothers at Home: Drew’s Honeymoon House” has Drew and Jonathan Scott rushing to complete a massive renovation of the 1920s-era Los Angeles dwelling that Drew and fiancée Linda Phan call home. 9 p.m., HGTV.
Thursday: In “Anne of Green Gables — The Good Stars,” our title character (Ella Ballentine) turns 13 and faces numerous milestones, including first sleepovers, culinary misadventures and shifting relationships. Martin Sheen returns as Matthew Cuthbert. 8 p.m., PBS. Friday: “Grammys Greatest Stories: A 60th Anniversary Special” recalls epic moments from Grammy history. Included: appearances by, among others, Mary J. Blige, Celine Dion, Aretha Franklin, Dave Grohl, Elton John, Bruno Mars, Paul McCartney, Ed Sheeran, Bruce Springsteen, Sting, U2 and Keith Urban. 9 p.m., CBS.
Saturday: Brace yourself for a sugar rush. The barrage of holiday TV movies is under way. Tonight, in “The Christmas Train,” a journalist (Dermot Mulroney) travels across the country with no idea that his journey will take him into “the rugged terrain of his own heart.” Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Danny Glover and Joan Cusack also star. 8 p.m., Hallmark.
