Floyd County man charged with possession of meth, marijuana

A Floyd County man has been jailed after his arrest while reportedly in possession of drugs and drug related objects.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Andrew Kyle Parris, 22, of 37 Ridgeview Drive, Silver Creek, was arrested at his home Monday night around 6 p.m. Rome Floyd Metro Task Force personnel recovered a quantity of methamphet­amine, marijuana, syringes and scales.

Parris was charged with felony possession of marijuana and methamphet­amine and marijuana along with a misdemeano­r for possession of drug related objects.

Parris remains in the Floyd County Jail without bond.

Report: Man kicks in door, accused of aggravated stalking

A man who is said to have kicked in the door to a home on Hennon Drive has been arrested and faces a felony aggravated stalking charge.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Jacob Daniel Grizzle, 31, 2 Argon Drive, Rome, was arrested Monday following the investigat­ion into an incident that occurred Sunday night around 11 p.m. Police accused Grizzle of kicking in the door to a woman’s home in violation of a conditiona­l bond to have no contact with the woman.

In addition to the felony aggravated

stalking charge, Grizzle was also charged with misdemeano­r criminal trespassin­g.

Grizzle was being held in the Floyd County Jail Tuesday night without bond.
