Floyd County man charged with possession of meth, marijuana
A Floyd County man has been jailed after his arrest while reportedly in possession of drugs and drug related objects.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Andrew Kyle Parris, 22, of 37 Ridgeview Drive, Silver Creek, was arrested at his home Monday night around 6 p.m. Rome Floyd Metro Task Force personnel recovered a quantity of methamphetamine, marijuana, syringes and scales.
Parris was charged with felony possession of marijuana and methamphetamine and marijuana along with a misdemeanor for possession of drug related objects.
Parris remains in the Floyd County Jail without bond.
Report: Man kicks in door, accused of aggravated stalking
A man who is said to have kicked in the door to a home on Hennon Drive has been arrested and faces a felony aggravated stalking charge.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Jacob Daniel Grizzle, 31, 2 Argon Drive, Rome, was arrested Monday following the investigation into an incident that occurred Sunday night around 11 p.m. Police accused Grizzle of kicking in the door to a woman’s home in violation of a conditional bond to have no contact with the woman.
In addition to the felony aggravated
stalking charge, Grizzle was also charged with misdemeanor criminal trespassing.
Grizzle was being held in the Floyd County Jail Tuesday night without bond.
